51 ensembles from 12 federal states have submitted their productions for the 11th Tanztreffen der Jugend. We would like to thank all the ensembles who applied with their exciting and creative choreographies and used the medium of dance to tell us what moves them. The dance productions submitted were created in a variety of contexts, such as schools, ballet or dance schools, dance houses, theatres, the independent scene or in conjunction with associations or youth cultural institutions. The jury was particularly pleased to receive applications from young dance professionals who have worked independently.
