Lecture | Ether’s Bloom: A Programme on Artificial Intelligence
Visual: Luis Kürschner, with kind support from Studio Linné
K Allado-McDowell, the current Writer in Residence at the Gropius Bau, will present a lecture that covers the ways AI reflects and shapes human subjectivity while also discussing the implications for design. AI and other sociotechnical systems reinforce human self-conceptions which limit or enhance our ability to address collective problems. However, there are core concepts in AI development that reflect other possible images of human and non-human relations. K Allado-McDowell will focus on these concepts along with possible implications for technology, psychology and economics.
This event is part of Ether’s Bloom: A Programme on Artificial Intelligence.
