As part of the first Long Evening and the public programme for the exhibition DAS GLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG by Rirkrit Tiravanija, Ayzon performs on Tiravanija’s demo station in the Gropius Bau’s atrium.

The demo station by Rirkrit Tiravanija is a stage-like sculpture that invites people to “demonstrate” something. Tiravanija plays with the different meanings of the term “demonstration” as both a political protest and a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby. For the duration of the exhibition, the demo station provides a space for daily public performances.

As part of the public programme accompanying the exhibition DAS GLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG by Rirkrit Tiravanija, the Gropius Bau invites you to a monthly series of Long Evenings. In addition to the DJ set, there will be a book presentation with Josephine Apraku, Eric Otieno Sumba, Sharonda Quainoo and Nadine Nzambisa Ngolo, a film screening by Rirkrit Tiravanija, a cooking show by Luiza Prado De O. Martins and a performance by Petra Hermanova taking place on the same evening.

Producer and artist Ayzon combines his own productions with songs that inspire him throughout his sets. Growing up in a vibrant musical household, his father, an Angolan DJ, introduced him to Kizomba, Jazz, Reggae, and Zouk, while his older brother opened a new world by sharing his love for R&B and Hip-Hop. Ayzons sound reflects this upbringing, blending warm, floating chords with smooth, groovy basslines and infectious drum patterns, creating a style that feels both familiar and refreshingly distinct. Earlier this year, he released his latest project, Part Of The Story, featuring a diverse selection of international and Berlin-based vocal artists, which has gained support from notable platforms such as COLORS, NTS and BBC Radio.
