Press Information on BAUBAU: A Play Space for Kids

Playing, laughing, making noise, letting off steam, doing nothing – all in an exhibition venue! BAUBAU, a play space for children, is open from now the ground floor of the Gropius Bau, accessible free of charge. Artist Kerstin Brätsch has created a colourful space where more is allowed than forbidden, and which from now on will constitute a permanent feature of the exhibition hall. BAUBAU will start as a pilot project, then continue to developing and growing over the coming years both inside and outside the Gropius Bau  – always in close collaboration with the children who use it.
