Ever since the 60s, Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky has been standing on the forefront of contemporary jazz “made in GDR”, covering a wide stylistic range from modern to free and developing a unique, unmistakable voice. To celebrate his 80th birthday, the Berlin Jazz Festival has invited him to perform with three of his most outstanding long-term projects.
