The Theatertreffen will continue the cooperation with the Academy for Theatre and Digitality and the Digitale Dramaturgie that was launched in 2020.
“Stages Unboxed” will show the practice and status quo of theatre on the internet. By means of a showcase featuring four productions, the Theatertreffen will show which theatrical forms have been setting trends over the past 18 months. The works were selected by the dramaturgs and the director of Theatertreffen. There are plans to continue and develop the showcase next year.
