Seven young people meet for seven hours over seven days. They look at each other, they look at each other, they examine their lives and our society. They explore what drives and motivates them, but above all what moves them: they dance.
“I love how our bodies keep inventing new, beautiful movements when we dance. How we keep finding each other.”
The plan to spend the winter holidays together, to try their hand at theatre, listen to music, play and cook together, ultimately led to the creation of “Lichtblicke”. The basis for this were improvisation units, movement theatre and writing assignments. In “Lichtblicke” the Dramaclʎn ensemble shares memorable observations, moments in which life feels light and effortless, in which the young performers feel their bodies right down to their fingertips, in which the world belongs to them, in which they feel enlightened.
But where there is light, there is also shadow. The performers don’t want to talk about joy without also addressing frustration. They all know moments of powerlessness, of darkness ...
... and know how important it is to fight for the bright moments. Together.
