The Festivalzeitung (FZ)

The editorial team of the Festivalzeitung (festival paper) consists of ten young artists, most of whom are former participants of the Treffen junger Autor*innen. The editorial team accompanies the festival, publishing daily updates in the Festivalzeitung. They discuss some of the invited plays’ themes, document and reflect on the atmosphere as well as everyday life at the festival. In addition, two reviews of the previous evening’s play are published daily in the magazine. 

The Festivalzeitung reports independently of the Berliner Festspiele and the participating ensembles. The paper’s aim is to get in touch with the participants, learn from them and understand their perspectives. The editorial team is always open to feedback and criticism. All texts published in the festival newspaper are written by individual members of the editorial team and do not reflect the opinion of the jury or Treffen junge Szene.
