The Forum of the Treffen junger Autor*innen is aimed at teachers. Besides the possibility of collegially exchange it offers practically relevant education dealing with different aspects of creative/literary writing in school.
The Forum is held in German only.

In the Forum for educators, a condensed writing workshop will be run through as an example in order to teach and discuss methods for conducting writing workshops with children and young people in a practical way. The focus is on writing narrative and dramatic prose, but some of the methods can also be applied to poetry. Under the title “Ideas and Inspiration”, the initial aim is to find material for literary texts: Beginning with the surrealists” writing games, which aim to overtax the brain in order to switch off the mind and write ‘automatically’, to other methods that are less intuitive and more based on a conscious examination of the world and society. In the next step, “Protagonists and perspectives”, we look at how to find and create suitable characters for stories. Finally, the third and last part, “Intention and intuition”, contains practical tips on how students can organise their writing and what they can do if they experience writer’s block.
