The architecture collective raumlaborberlin works on new forms of urban practice.
Its members have received numerous awards, including the Swedish National Architecture Award 2015, the Currystone Design Prize 2017, the Berlin Award 2016 and 2021, the Roland Prize for Art in Public Spaces 2022, the Golden Lion of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021, the Opus German Stage Prize 2022. But these honours do not go to their heads. They understand space as a product of social interaction, urbanity as the simultaneity of contradictions, and urban practice as an artistic form in which people meet and exchange ideas. raumlabor loves ideas for a better future and looks to collaborate with everyday experts. raumlabor works situatively, site-specifically, physically, culinarily and collaboratively.
