Roger de Weck

Roger de Weck is a writer in Zurich and a visiting professor at the College of Europe in Bruges. He was general manager of Swiss Radio and Television in Berne, president of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and chief editor of DIE ZEIT in Hamburg. Roger de Weck wrote the book “Nach der Krise – Gibt es einen anderen Kapitalismus?” and edited the foreign-policy book series “Standpunkte” on German and European foreign policy. The bilingual Swiss national studied political economics at the University of St. Gallen. He is a named member on the foundation board of the International Charlemagne Prize and holds honorary doctorates from the universities of Fribourg and Lucerne.
