Laura Naumann

Laura Naumann, born in Leipzig in 1989, lives in Berlin and is an author, theater maker and, since 2022, film student in screenwriting at the DFFB. Her plays have been performed and awarded numerous times in German-speaking countries. She has written commissioned works for Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspiel Leipzig, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Schauspiel Frankfurt and Staatsschauspiel Dresden. In November 2021, the radio play adaptation of her play "Das hässliche Universum" was produced by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and chosen by DADK as radio play of the month.

She co-founded the gametheatre collective machina eX and the feminist performance collective Henrike Iglesias, with whom she toured nationally and internationally between 2012 and 2022. Her first novel will be published in spring 2024.

Laura Naumann was a prize winner at the Treffen junger Autoren in 2006 and 2008.
