Gracie Gardner

Gracie Gardner is an American playwright from New England. She is a member of New Dramatists, Ars Nova Play Group and Ensemble Studio Theater’s Obie-winning group Youngblood. In 2017 she received the American Playwriting Foundation's Relentless Award. Gardner has a Manhattan Theater Club Commission and is a SPACE on Ryder Farm resident. Her work includes „Decoys“ (McKnight National Residency), „Pussy Sludge“ (Relentless Award), „I’m Revolting“ (Atlantic Theater Company Claire Tow Fellowship), „Athena“ (New York Times Critic’s Pick), „Hate Baby“ (James Stevenson Prize) and “Panopticon“ (Clubbed Thumb Biennial Finalist). Her plays have been seen at The Old Vic, The New Group, Two River Theater and Williamstown Theater Festival. Gardner’s work has been published by Samuel French, Table Work Press, S. Fischer and Cincinnati Review.
