Eric Marlin is a queer, Jewish playwright whose work uses ghosts and hauntings to explore rage, grief and bad jokes. He has been presented by the Public Theater, Ars Nova, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Tank, Dixon Place, Samuel French, HOT! Festival, Exquisite Corpse Company, PTP/NYC and Tennessee Williams Festival. Winner of the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. Finalist for SPACE on Ryder Farm, Jewish Plays Project and two-time finalist for the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. Current member of the Civilians’ R&D Group. Former Resident Artist at the New Works Initiative of the department of Theatre and Dance in Montclair State University’s College of the Arts. MFA: Iowa Playwrights Workshop.
