Falk Schreiber

Falk Schreiber was born in Ulm in 1972 and studied literature and political sciences in Tübingen and Gießen. He worked as an editor for tanz – Zeitschrift für Ballett, Tanz und Performance, as a writer for media including Theater heute, nachtkritik.de, Hamburger Abendblatt and artline. His work focusses on performing and visual arts, pop culture and queer culture. He teaches at the the Berlin University of the Arts’ Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (HZT). Together with Haiko Pfost and Wilma Renfordt, he edited “Lernen aus dem Lockdown. Nachdenken über Freies Theater”, published by Alexander Verlag, Berlin, in 2020. He has been a jury member for the Mülheim Dramatists’ Award, Körber Studio Junge Regie, the Cultural Department of Hamburg and the Hanover International Choreographers’ Competition. He lives in Hamburg and Berlin.
