Chris Lawrence

Following his training as a landscape gardener in the 1990s, Peter M. Kersten aka Lawrence became involved in numerous cultural projects. Under the alias Lawrence he produces subtle, electronic music in house, techno, and ambient form, runs the influential Dial label, and, for some years also ran the Galerie Mathew not far from the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. In addition to this, Peter M. Kersten is also the organiser and curator of the collective Sky Walking. For some time, he has been working again on plants and their communication amongst themselves, as well as musically examining networks of forest and permacultures.
