Alexander Khuon

Alexander Khuon, born in 1979 in Freiburg, studied acting at the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy University for Theatre and Music in Leipzig. After his first productions at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, he was taken on by the Schauspiel Köln from 2002–2004 and been a permanent member of the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater Berlin since 2004. He has worked with directors such as Jürgen Gosch, Dimiter Gotscheff, Stephan Kimmig, Dusan David Parizek and Nicolas Stemann. In 2010 he was awarded the Gertrud-Eysoldt-Ring by the German Academy of Performing Arts for his role as Trigorin in Jürgen Gosch’s production of Anton Chekhov’s “The Seagull”. Alexander Khuon also regularly performs in feature films and TV dramas. He appeared in Matthias Schweighöfer’s “Vaterfreuden” and Dietrich Brüggemann’s “3 Zimmer Küche Bad”. He recently played the leading role in the Sat.1 series “Josephine Klick – Allein unter Cops” as Commissioner Alexander Mahler.
