Julia Holewińska

The Polish playwright, essayist and dramaturge Julia Holewińska was invited to the Stückemarkt in 2012 with the play “Ciała obce – Foreign Bodies”. She studied Theatre Studies at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Her script “Ciała obce – Foreign Bodies” was awarded the Gdynian Dramatists’ Prize in 2010 and premiered in February 2012 at the Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk. She was a guest at the L’Obrador d’Estiu Sala Beckett. Her scripts have been translated into English, Russian and Spanish, among other languages. Julia Holewińska lives and works in Warsaw.
