Bonn Park

Bonn Park was born in Berlin in 1987, studied creative writing for the theatre and theatre directing at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Zurich University of the Arts. His works have been presented at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Volksbühne Berlin, Theater an der Parkaue and Theater Bonn, among others. In 2011, Bonn Park won the Innovation Award at Heidelberger Stückemarkt for “Die Leiden des Jungen Super Mario in 2D“. His play “Traurigkeit & Melancholie” was nominated for the 2015 Else-Lasker-Schüler-Preis and the 2016 Deutscher Jugendtheaterpreis. At the Essener Autorentage 2016, “Wir trauern um Bonn Park” won the award of the young people’s jury. Bonn Park lives in Berlin and is represented by Henschel SCHAUSPIEL Theaterverlag.
