Lea Kieffer

Lea Kieffer is a French, Berlin-based performer and dance/clothing maker. She grew up in the French mountains and studied sports. Her work focuses on mixing craft, performance and bodywork with an interest for wilderness and improvisation, bridging physical challenges and somatic practices. She is interested in what’s behind the shape of things. Since 2012, she collaborates with her partner in crime Rocio Marano. Under the identity of Los Ninjas, they create performances and workshops and share the adventure of life. She’s been working as a performer for Juha Marsalo, Rose Beerman, Benjamin Pohlig, Marina Abramović and Isabel Lewis and as outside eye and artistic companion for Angela Schubot and Michael Shapira. Beside dance she also makes costumes and clothes that dress the international dance community.
