Kristin Becker

Kristin Becker, born in Schlema in 1979, studied theater, film and American studies in Mainz and Chicago after a year abroad in Italy. From 2005 to 2007, she headed the theater department of the Mainz city magazine STUZ. In 2006 and 2007 she was a juror at the Autoren-Werkstatttage at the Burgtheater in Vienna, and in 2008 for an academic sabbatical in Berkeley. She is currently completing her doctorate on science productions and writes part-time for various newspapers and magazines, including taz and Theaterheute.
