Carmen Scarano

As a dance educator and artist, Carmen has been involved in a wide variety of artistic and cultural projects for over 22 years. These range from violence prevention for elementary schools to political education concepts for schools to dance pedagogical projects in penal institutions as well as teaching assignments at universities and dual universities. Her passion includes interdisciplinary, inclusive, performative art projects, community dance & working with heterogeneous groups. As a choreographer, Carmen works with professional dancers and actors* as well as amateurs at various German theaters and for the independent sector. People who want to be moved in any way can find what they are looking for with Carmen in lessons, projects or processes. Carmen offers the possibility of engaging with ones own body and being (Conscious Bodies/Dance as a healing art form).
