Elizabeth Blonzen

Elizabeth Blonzen, born 1968 in Gerolstein, lives in Berlin. She was a jury member at the Theatertreffen der Jugend until 2023. She studied German, philosophy and psychology at the University of Essen, completed an acting degree at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich and has had numerous engagements at various theatres, including Münchner Kammerspiele, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Bochum and Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. She has also appeared in numerous cinema and TV productions. She is also a guest lecturer for acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, the August Everding Theatre Academy and the Berlin University of the Arts. She is a guest lecturer in dramaturgy at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
