The artist, theatre and film actor, poetry slammer and writer Tony (full name: Kibsa Anthony Ouedraogo) mainly works in his home town of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Tony has been known as a poet since 2009, as a theatre actor since 2015 and as a film actor since 2010. His poetry deals with human beings, with life and, therefore, with the political. He is most focused on the question of how human beings can return to themselves. The diversity of his themes notwithstanding, they always come together in the existential and essential questions of humankind. As an actor, he is most interested in projects that question the world, humankind, justice and the balance that can exist between them.
