Stella Hilb, born in Frankfurt/Main in 1986, is an actor. She spent the first years of her life in Bologna and studied acting from 2006 to 2010 at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam.
From 2012 to the 2015/16 season, she was a member of the acting company at Neues Theater Halle, where her roles included Mary Stuart, Effi Briest and Mephisto. She received the advancement award for acting at national theatre Halle in 2013. She works closely with director Nora Abdel-Maksoud: They cooperated on “Kings” at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in 2014, “Mad Madams” at Neues Theater Halle in 2015, “The Making-of” at Maxim Gorki Theater in 2017; further projects are currently being planned. Since 2013, they have been developing common topics that cast a critical glance at politics or society. Stella Hilb has been working as a freelance actor since July 2016 and appears not only in theatre, but also in films and on television.
