Nadezhda Pavlova

The lyric soprano Nadezhda Pavlova is one of the most exciting artists of her generation. She has been invited to the Salzburg Festival and the Lucerne Festival as well as to major European opera houses and concert halls such as the Bavarian State Opera, the Zurich Opera House, the Hamburg State Opera, the Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Cologne Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus Dortmund.
Her repertoire includes, among others. the roles of Violetta (“La Traviata”), Lucia (“Lucia di Lammermoor”), Donna Anna (“Don Giovanni”), Contessa (“Le nozze di Figaro”), Fiordiligi (“Così fan tutte”), Konstanze (“Die Entführung aus dem Serail”), Marfa (“Die Zarenbraut”), Micaëla (“Carmen”), Zerbinetta (“Ariadne auf Naxos”), Musetta (“La Bohème”), Volkhova (“Sadko”), Gilda (“Rigoletto”), Olympia (“Les contes d’Hoffmann”) and Cunegonde (“Candide”) as well as a wide range of songs.
Pavlova has been a member of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2012/13 and won the prestigious Russian theatre award Golden Mask in 2017 for the title role in Bob Wilson’s production of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” conducted by Teodor Currentzis.Since the 2018/2019 season, Nadezhda Pavlova has been a guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia. In 2021 she made a phenomenal debut at the Salzburg Festival as Donna Anna in Romeo Castellucci's production of W. A. Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”. In 2022, her debut at the Hamburg State Opera met with a great response.
