Tino Sehgal

The internationally renowned and multiple award-winning artist Tino Sehgal has been presented at Berliner Festspiele in the last ten years in a major retrospective show at Gropius Bau in 2016 and in the Foreign Affairs festival. Sehgal was also the co-curator of the exhibitions “Welt ohne Außen” and “Down to Earth” as part of the Immersion programme series. His works are “constructed situations” that have been presented with great success as individual exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum, the Tate Modern, documenta 12, the Venice Biennial, and the Fondation Beyerle, amongst others. His work as a curator includes exhibitions in the Stedelijk Museum, the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, the Manchester International Festival and the The Shed in New York.
