Dramatist Rebekka Kricheldorf was invited to the Stückemarkt in 2002 with “Prinzessin Nicoletta”. The play also received the Publisher’s and Audience Prize at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt. After studying Romance Language and Literature at the Humboldt University and Creative Writing for the Stage at the Berlin University of the Arts, she received numerous grants and prizes, among them the Kleist Prize for Young Dramatists in and the Schiller Prize from the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. She has been playwright in residence at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and at the Theaterhaus Jena. In 2005, she was invited to the Mülheim Theatre Festival and in 2011 to the Playwriting Festival at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Among her most works are “Villa Dolorosa”, “Robert Redfords Hände selig “ and “Gotham City I”.
