Anja Hilling

The dramatist Anja Hilling was invited to the Stückemarkt in 2003 with the play “Sterne” and was awarded the Dresdner Bank Young Dramatists’ Prize. Her plays also include “Bulbus” (world premiere at the Burgtheater Vienna),“Schwarzes Tier Traurigkeit” (world premiere at the Schauspiel Hannover and “Der Garten” (world premiere at the Schauspielhaus Wien). Between 2002 and 2006, she studied Creative Writing for the Stage at the Berlin University of the Arts. She has been invited on numerous occasions to playwright workshops and festivals in London and Vienna on numerous occasions, among them the Mülheimer Theatertage, the Weekend of Young Dramatists at the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Autorentage at the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Schauspiel Hannover and the Schauspielhaus Wien.
