Juan Corres Benito

Juan Corres Benito is a dance artist born in 1987 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. Juan studied at London Contemporary Dance School and was part of the D. A. N. C. E. Dance Apprentice Network aCross Europe. Since 2009, he has worked as a dancer with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Eva Recacha, Aoife McAtamney or Anna Röthlisberger. In 2011, Juan co-founded the collective DISH Dance in Dublin, where he produced, created and performed multiple works. Since 2014, he is based in Berlin, where he has expanded his practice by connecting to other artists working in theatre, visual art and music. Some of his latest collaborations include Isabelle Schad, Sylvana Seddig, Lola Maury, Jasmin Ihraç, Theda and Julian Nilsson-Eicke, and Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop.
