Sārā Rezāzādeh began her musical education with piano lessons. She also received her first lessons on the long-necked lute Tār at an early age. She completed her studies of the Tār at the University of Arts in Tehran with a Master’s degree. She trained with renowned masters such as Mohammad Rezā Lotfi, Hossein Alizādeh, Majid Derakhshāni, Dāriush Talāi and Fariborz Azizi.
Throughout her career, Sārā Rezāzādeh has collaborated with various formations, including the Khorshid and Māhbānoo ensembles under the direction of Majid Derakhshāni. With these two ensembles she has given numerous concerts in Europe and Iran and contributed to various albums.
She is the founder and director of the Saz-e-no music school in Karaj and author of the Tār textbook for children Yek Jor'e Tar.
