Mandie O’Connell

Mandie O’Connell is a Berlin-based theater maker from the United States. Her former company Implied Violence (now Saint Genet) is an internationally recognized group that has performed at The Watermill Center, The Guggenheim Museum in New York City, and at the Donau Festival in Austria. Mandie's new project, La Mission, is a record label collective that produces vinyl only records, publishes a magazine, and includes a theater performance made especially for each record. Anja Struck has been collaborating with Mandie O’Connell and La Mission since 2013. She studied theater studies at the Freie Universität and worked as an assistant dramaturg at The Berliner Ensemble before taking a new direction by studying film editing, the field in which she is now working.
