Marco D’Agostin, born 1987 in Italy, is an artist active in the fields of dance and performance. His work questions the role and functioning of memory, and focuses on the relationship between performer and spectator. He has been developing his own practice as a choreographer since 2010 and has been invited to international dance research projects. D’Agostin has presented his work at major European and Italian festivals. He has twice been selected among the Priority Companies of Aerowaves, and in 2018 he received the UBU Award as Best Performer under 35. In 2021, he premiered with two new pieces: BEST REGARDS at Biennale Danza in Venice and SAGA at Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis in Paris. He is an Associated Artist of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan from 2022 to 2024.
