Elliot Douglas (born 1995) is a Berlin-based journalist and writer, currently studying for a master’s degree in literature and cultural studies with a focus on de-colonial writing. He has worked mainly for Deutsche Welle, where he created video content about German culture for a non-German audience, and was Stage Editor for Berlin’s English-speaking magazine, ExBerliner. He also has experience as a theatre director, playwright and performer. He finds himself increasingly interested in bridging the gap between theory and practice – and is striving to spend more time in nature and with fascinating people and less time in front of a screen.
