Deniz Yücel

Deniz Yücel is a German-Turkish journalist and publicist. He was editor of taz from 2007 to 2015 and has been a correspondent and author for the Welt/N24 group of Axel Springer Verlag since 2015. He is also a long-standing co-editor of the weekly newspaper Jungle World. From 2021 until his resignation in 2022, he was President of the PEN Center Germany and has been spokesperson for PEN Berlin since June 2022.
