Helge Slaatto

Helge Slaatto was born in 1952 in Oslo and studied with Maria Lidka, Sandor Végh and Dorothy Delay. He is Professor of Violin at the Conservatory for Music in Münster and was concert-master with the Odense Symphony Orchestra as well as the Athelas Ensemble Copenhagen. He is a renowned interpreter of contemporary music and still in great demand as a soloist, appearing for example with the Koenig Ensemble London, Koechlin Ensemble, Randers Chamber Orchestra Denmark, at the Bergen Festival and the Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte Montepulciano. He has given master-classes in Germany, Greece, Denmark and Portugal.
