Parvin Saljoughi (Tehran/ Brussels) is an artist who is active in the field of experimental choreography, dance and performance. Her work is based on the political body with a focus on uncertain presence and vulnerability, imagination, investigations in power and visibility in society. She recently finished her master studies in Choreography at Institut Supérieur des Arts et des Chorégraphies Bruxelles (ISAC). In 2021 she undertook an internship with the company Damaged Goods/Meg Stuart. She has received support and co-production opportunities from Flash Art, Live Works Vol. 7, Bâtard and Tashweesh festival, and participated in several residencies such as PACT Zollverein, beursschouwburg, workspacebrussels, Centrale Fies and BonGah. She has been collaborating with artists including Cherish Menzo, Hooman Sharifi, Nana Biluš Abaffy, Iris van Peppen, Claudia Castellucci, Camilla Strandhagen. You can soon find her dancing for Wen Hui in her next premiere at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm in 2024.
