Slobodan Šnajder

Dramatist and Theatre Director. Born in Zagreb in 1948. Studied Philosophy and English at Zagreb University. Began publishing plays, stories and essays in 1967 and has been a co-founder and long-time editor of the theatre magazine “Prolog” and a long-time columnist for the newspaper “Novi list” since 1968.

His plays include “Der kroatische Faust”, “Die Schlangenhaut”, “Der Trost der nördlichen Meere”, “Ham, ein Todeslauf”, “Gamlett” and “Bauhaus”.
