Julia Riedler was born in Salzburg in 1990. Initially a law-student, she later transferred to Hamburg’s Hochschule für Musik und Theater. She worked as a performance curator for the MS Dockville Festival for Art and Music in Hamburg and has been a member of the artists’ network cobratheater.cobra since 2009. During her last year as an acting-student, she was engaged by Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and she received the Boy-Gobert-Nachwuchspreis for outstanding performances as an actor in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, she was a member of the acting company at Schauspiel Köln. She has contributed to numerous radio plays and received the Audience Award at the Deutsche Hörspieltage (German radio play festival) of ARD in 2014. She appeared in various film and television productions in Germany and Austria and has been a member of the acting company of Münchner Kammerspiele since the 2015/16 season.
As of January 2016
