Matin Soofipour Omam

Matin Soofipour Omam is currently studying Dramatic Literature and Scenic Writing at the University of Tehran and Theatre Pedagogy at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Her first engagements as a theatre pedagogue took her to the Grips Theater Berlin and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. She has been a dramaturge at the Theater an der Parkaue since the 2021/22 season and took over as head of the dramaturgy department in 2023. As a freelance author, dramaturge and theatre maker, Soofipour Omam is involved in various collectives. Her classroom play “Raumrauschen” won the German Children’s Theatre Award in 2024.
