Pina Bergemann, born in Stuttgart in 1987, is an actor. She studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. While still a student, she already performed on the stage of Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and, together with her fellow students, won the Max-Reinhardt-Award for the best achievement by an ensemble for “Baal”. Most recently, she was a member of the acting company of Schauspiel Leipzig, where she worked with directors like Christopher Rüping, Gernot Grünewald, Nuran David Calis, Dariusch Yazdkhasti or Ivna Žic. After having spent her parental leave in New York, Pina Bergemann now lives in Leipzig and works as a freelance artist. She has performed as a guest at Theater Kiel, at Munich’s Residenztheater and at Schauspiel Leipzig. She increasingly collaborates with visual artists and has appeared at Deichtorhallen Hamburg and at the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig.
