Korhan Erel

Korhan Erel (*1973, Istanbul) is an electronic musician, improviser and sound artist based in Berlin. Korhan plays improvised and composed music as a soloist as well as part of various groups and orchestras, including The Liz, Nervous Entanglement, Trickster Orchestra, Klub Demboh and Ephemeral Fragments. Korhan also composes music and sound for dance, video art and film. Korhan’s sound installations and concerts have been presented at various exhibitions, including the Istanbul (2013) and Riga (2018) biennales as well as two concerts in the MAK Vienna. Korhan has released several albums with various musicians and ensembles and has performed numerous concerts in Europe, Asia and North America.
