
Kolja Reichert has written for all the leading German newspapers and art magazines and worked as editor for visual art with both the daily and Sunday editions of the Frankfurter Allgemeine. In 2012 he won the prize for art criticism awarded by the German art associations and Art Cologne, and in 2018 the Will Grohmann Prize awarded by the Akademie der Künste Berlin. After working for institutions that included the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn, in January 2024 he became Chief Curator at K21 in Düsseldorf. Kolja Reichert is the author of the books “Krypto-Kunst: NFTs und digitales Eigentum” (Crypto Art: NFTs and Digital Ownership, Wagenbach) and “Kann ich das auch? 50 Fragen an die Kunst” (Could I do that? 50 Questions for Art, KlettCotta).
