Mariana Hausdorf Andrade was born in the South of Chile, in Puerto Varas. She studied Acting at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She has worked in theatrical productions as actor, playwright and director. In 2017 she started her work as director with the plays “Ramírez” and “Impostoras”. In 2018 Mariana Hausdorf Andrade was part of the Programa de Formación en Dirección Escénica managed by Goethe-Institut Chile and Fundación Teatro a Mil. She also works as theatre researcher in the fields of theatre history, historiography and performance archives.
