Anne Haug

Anne Haug was born in Basel and studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. She works as an actor and author for theatre and film in Europe and has long-standing working relationships with Corinne Maier and Nora Abdel-Maksoud, among others. After the leading role in the feature film “Men Show Movies & Women Their Breasts” by Isabell Šuba, further works for film and television followed, such as “Rakete Perelman” by Oliver Alaluukas, “Lux – Krieger des Lichts” by Daniel Wild or the Swiss comedy “Vagenda Stories” by Natascha Beller. Since 2013, she has had a late-night show with the duo Projekt Schooriil at SOPHIENSÆLE in Berlin. The theatre series was invited to the conference “Burning Issues Meets Theatertreffen”, an event of the 2019 Theatertreffen. Also in 2019, she wrote her first play “Neverland” together with Antù Romero Nunes for Thalia Theater in Hamburg. She also works as an author for film and television productions for WDR and UFA, among others.
