Thomas Proksch
Thomas Proksch is a performer, sound artist and DJ and a co-founder of the performance and vocal beat collective Boyz in the Woods together with just in f kennedy, Balz Isler and Gaël Cleinow. He composed / remixed soundtracks for Rocio Marano’s “Insanity”, Edivaldo Ernesto’s “Noise”, Claire Vivianne Sobottke & Sheena McGrandles’ “Bounty”, Alfredo Zinola’s “Paradis”. He is interpret of numerous works of Tino Sehgal, “this variation”, “yet untitled”, “Kiss” (documenta13, Venice Biennale 2013, Palais de Tokyo Paris, djalma el fna Morocco, The Shed NYC a.o.) Furthermore he recently performed in Mesut Arslan’s “Betrayal” and Rita Vilhena’s “Emergency Plan”. One of the artistic directors of Volksroom, an off-performance space in Brussels/Anderlecht and member of the collective Mud Pack, techno-field-researching once a year at the Waking Life Festival in Crato, Portugal. Under the Alias T#0T#0 he is DJ of tropical bass music (Bodysnatch Berlin, BlaBlaton Zürich, Laser Bar, ImPulsTanz Wien a.o.) and half of the DJ duo LIDL Bromance together with just in f kennedy.
