Elke Naters

Elke Naters, born in 1963, trained as a dressmaker in Munich and studied Art and Photography in Berlin. Her debut novel “Königinnen” (1998) was a great success and was followed by four more novels; the last one was “Später Regen (Late Rain)” in 2012. Her books have been translated into several languages. After staying in Bangkok and Berlin, she lived near Cape Town with her family for nine years. In early 2014, she returned to Berlin, where she launched the “Sharehaus” with her husband Sven Lager in May.
