Thomas Krüger

Thomas Krüger has been the president of the Federal Agency for Civic Education since July 2000. He was appointed president of Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk in 1995. Furthermore, he is a member of the advisory board of the Federal President’s History Competition and an advisory board member for further education of the German Association of Adult Education. Between 1991 and 1994, he was Senator for Youth and Families in Berlin; following this, he was a member of the German Federal Parliament from 1994 to 1998.
