Hasnain Kazim

Hasnain Kazim was born in Oldenburg in 1974 and is the son of Indian and Pakistani immigrants. He grew up in Hollern-Twielenfleth in the Alte Land, just outside Hamburg, und in Karachi in Pakistan, studied Political Sciences and began a career as a naval officer. After spending many years as a journalist, mostly as a foreign correspondent for Der Spiegel, he now lives as a freelance writer in Vienna.
