Teresa L. Rosenkrantz is a contemporary theatre maker und theatre educator. The focus of her work lays in connecting with diverse groups of people in order to create unique, playful and easily approachable performances. She is currently working on the “Aesthetics of Access” – innovative and creative methods of accessibility. She therefore took part in various creative labs and masterclasses held by the Cologne Performing Arts Company Un-Label.
Since 2018 she has been working closely with the inclusive ensemble of the Klabauter Theater, Hamburg. During the Klabautonom festival, she connected the inclusive ensemble with elementary school students (Brecht-Schule, Hamburg) and students from the Educational Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Together they dealt with the question: What makes a theatre a relaxed space?
Over the past ten years, she has been creating performance projects with different age groups in public schools, as well as state and independent theatres. Her productions were shown in Hamburg theatres such as Thalia Gaußstraße, JungesSchauspielHausHamburg or FUNDUS THEATER.
Teresa L. Rosenkrantz holds a degree in Theatre in Education from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences as well as a Master in Performance Studies from Hamburg University.
